Another sketch

Yeah, yeah, ok, ok...another farm. At the moment I will stick to easy stuff.

Next sketch

This is of my niece Arielle when she was 5yrs old. She is now 18. I had trouble doing her nose and mouth...but this is my first attempt. I am quite happy with it.

Daylight Moonlight

This was taken a few days ago about 6.30am, looking to the west...if anyone really cares.

Flowers

Not bad for my first attempt at flowers. Never had tried before. Mum wants me to do this one as a painting. Will have a go, not sure how it will turn out.

Cliff face.

So my next sketch was this cliff face. Again from the same book the last sketch was done. I am getting the hang of it again. I want to try to copy from a photograph next. Not too sure how I will go.

Half way through the year.

It has been a couple of months since I last wrote in this, not much happened really. Then July comes and we are met with sadness in our family. My mother's sister sadly passed away. Aunty Mary was 84yrs old. Mum is now the last of the 'Dare' girls. So on that thought, decided to get her to tell me her stories of her family etc...while she still remembers.
With that keeping me busy I have also started up sketching again. It has been to long since I last did any. This farmhouse is my first sketch, I copied it from a book. Once I got started, I tried a few more....
